ABL-SF Membership Information

If you have a passion for positive change and have an interest in helping to feed the Asian Pacific-American leadership pipeline, you have what it takes to join our team.

Join our group of professionals! Our aim is to create, foster, and support Asian Pacific-American business leaders in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our members continuously strive to achieve the above objectives through the following activities and opportunities:

  • COMMUNITY OUTREACH – Cultural and social programs to promote community awareness
  • FUTURE GENERATIONS FOCUS – Providing professional speakers to youth in career forums and workplace tours
  • NETWORKING – Business and social functions from wine forums to social mixers
  • SPECIAL EVENTS –Lunar New Year Dinner, Leadership Awards Dinner, and Holiday Reception
  • SELF-GROWTH RESOURCES – Presentations, seminars and workshops on current business topics
  • VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES – We offer a range of volunteer opportunities and a way to give back to the community

Below are some of many activities held in 2008

Event 1: Glen Canyon Park Hike (1.5 hr) + Lunch

Description: Located in the City, Glen Canyon Park is IDEAL for a short Saturday morning hike! Enjoy a beautiful day walking through one of SF’s most scenic parks. The hike will be just over an hour and you’ll get a chance to see Islais Creek – a natural stream running through the Canyon. We will top off the hike with a lunch around noon.

Event 2: Weekend in Yosemite! – August 2, 2008 *

Description: This autumn, come spend a weekend – Saturday and Sunday – at a beautiful lodge in Yosemite!
Activities: Hiking, Canoeing, Board Games, BBQ, and Biking for those who are interested!

Event 3: ABL’s “City Delights” – Dine-Out

Description: All are welcome to join us to take full advantage of the culinary diversity in the Bay Area. Come and support Asian and Asian Pacific-American Chefs in the Bay Area! Feel free to suggest your favorite restaurants regardless of price, atmosphere..
