Statement It has been a privilege to serve on a board of an organization that has a history of serving the Asian American community for the past 30 years.  From youth programs to leadership programs, ABLSF is combining its history, experience, and resources to meet the needs of APAC leaders of tomorrow and I am looking forward to working with dedicated members of the board to contribute to this mission.

Statement I have been a member of ABL since the early 1980’s and have served as a board member for over 25 years.  I bring an historical perspective to the organization, in addition to my extensive non-profit and business experience.  I have been the Treasurer of ABL since 1997 and have held the position of Secretary for a number of years prior.  I have and currently serve on the boards of several non-profit organizations, in addition to serving as a Council Member in the City of Piedmont.  I have been actively involved with my local community for 20 years in a number of capacities, including serving as past President of the Piedmont Educational Board and of the Piedmont Asian American Club.
I am currently the Chief Financial Officer of Pacific National Bank, and am an experienced financial management executive with over 30 years of financial and administrative experience.  I am a licensed California CPA and have held a number of senior financial management positions in major companies (MetLife and Bank of America).
I would like to continue to put my financial, business and civic experience to work for ABL as the organization continues to re-invigorate itself with the success enjoyed with its Leadership and Youth programs and to the next level of programming and events.

Statement I have to say that it is a privilege to be a Board Member of the ABL since June of 2009.  There are very few organizations that I want to be a part of and ABL has exceeded my expectation.  The CEO of You Program is a very important program that taps into the challenges of being Asian in the Bay Area and for that matter the U.S.  My passion is to assist many of our colleagues in succeeding and bringing their personal and professional status to the next level.  I bring my personal and corporate experience to the table to help guide my peers, mentees and the next generation.

Statement It has been a great pleasure to help facilitate the goals of the Asian Business League of San Francisco. The past three and a half years have been highly educational and rewarding, personally. In the years to come, I hope to continue in helping ABL further its mission by bringing together the necessary people, resources, and knowledge. I foresee ABL as making great strides towards helping local APAC professionals walk down the path to positions of leadership – as organizational professionals, small business owners, and political figures. It would give me tremendous pleasure to continue serving as one of its Board members.
